Information we collect
When you use our contact form or book a consultation, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, the date and time you select, and any message you choose to provide. Our service providers may also process limited technical information needed for security and spam prevention, such as your IP address, browser type, access time, and referring website.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- understand which accountancy or tax service you may need;
- arrange a call, meeting, or appropriate next step; and
- keep an accurate record of our communications.
Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a possible contract, where applicable, and our legitimate interests in responding to and managing genuine business enquiries. We do not use contact-form details for marketing unless we ask separately and you choose to opt in.
Do not send sensitive information
Please do not use this form to send UTRs, National Insurance numbers, bank or card details, passwords, identity documents, tax returns, or other detailed financial or tax records. If we need sensitive documents, we will arrange a more appropriate method.
Who receives your information
We use Formspree to receive and deliver website enquiries. Formspree processes form submissions and sends notifications to our business email. Formspree states that its services are hosted in the United States and that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant international transfers.
You can read Formspree's privacy policy and security information.
We use Calendly to provide our online appointment booking page. Calendly processes the booking details you submit and coordinates the appointment with our calendar. Read Calendly's privacy notice.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not sell your contact details.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a client, we normally retain the enquiry and related correspondence for up to 12 months after our last meaningful contact. We may keep it longer where reasonably necessary for a complaint, legal claim, regulatory requirement, or security investigation. If you become a client, relevant information may form part of your client file and will be retained under the rules applying to that relationship.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. These rights are not absolute. To exercise a right, contact us using the email address above.
You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. We will consider your request and stop processing unless we have compelling legitimate grounds or need the information for legal claims.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
